Delta Sig Alumnus Jimmy Kalb (San Diego State ’79) Leads Triad Components to National Recognition

Triad Components Group, founded by Jimmy Kalb (San Diego State ’79), has once again secured its place on the prestigious 2023 Inc. 5000 list, which ranks the fastest-growing private companies in America. This year marks a remarkable milestone for Triad Components, as the company joins an elite group of just 21 businesses that have been recognized on the Inc. 5000 for 10 consecutive years or more.

Specializing in the supply chain manufacturing of fuses, circuit breakers, and switches, Triad Components serves the transportation, electronics, and electrical industries. The company’s roots trace back to 1991, near the campus of San Diego State University, where Jimmy Kalb earned his undergraduate degree in the 1980s. Since its inception, Triad Components has not only grown in size and influence but also maintained a strong connection with Delta Sigma Phi. Several Delta Sig brothers, including Tyler Lui (San Diego State ’20), have contributed to the company’s success, with Tyler currently working in the engineering and compliance department.

Beyond his professional achievements, Jimmy Kalb has been a dedicated supporter of Delta Sigma Phi and the San Diego State community. For over 20 years, he has served on the Gamma Alpha Alumni Corporation Board (ACB) and has generously given his time as a campus mentor and guest lecturer, inspiring the next generation of leaders.

Jimmy Kalb’s story is a testament to the enduring bonds of brotherhood and the impact that Delta Sigma Phi alumni can have on their communities and industries. As Triad Components Group continues to thrive, we celebrate Jimmy’s contributions and the legacy he’s building for future generations.
