The brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. recently took to the streets around New York’s Penn Station to help those experiencing homelessness.
The Kappa Xi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha, also known as The Wall Street Alphas, headed to Penn Station on December 4th, 2021 to do their 5th annual Founders’ Day community service project. Chapter brothers distributed 115 bags of personal care products including soap, deodorant, lotion, razors, blankets, socks, PPE masks, and snacks to the houseless community in and around Penn Station, with the goal of not only to providing individuals with care packages but also giving them hope and kindness.
