Each year the FarmHouse chapter at Kansas State University hosts their “Floats & Goats” event which features root beer floats and a petting zoo supporting Be The Match. This year, Rachel, a patient who had a transplant back in 2017, was on had to share her experience with attendees. In addition, the event received some extra assistance and support from SAE, who happen to be FarmHouse’s next-door neighbors at KSU.

In total, 90 students swabbed to join the registry, but the spirit of collaboration and service together is something that will carry on into future terms.

Be The Match Manager of College Partnerships Matt Kroeger, M.Ed. shared the following with FarmHouse staff after the event, “Thank you for our partnerships, and for all you and your teams do to educate and model fine young gentlemen and future leaders!”
