On Thursday evening, Heidelberg University’s Greek Life organizations hosted an event for children in SMYL, an program from Seneca County Family and Children First Council that seeks to mentor children in the county.
During the event, hosted around Heidelberg’s Wickham Great Hall, games and activities were provided for the dozens of children who attended.
“We just want to shine a light on this amazing program, and we hope to open the door for college students to give back to the community that has raised us,” said Abigail Bretz, vice president of programming for Heidelberg’s Greek Life Council.
