The Alpha Iota Chapter of Sigma Pi at Missouri S&T is proud to give back to its campus community. Through its annual Ace Week initiative that commenced on Sunday, April 7, fraternity brothers completed five acts of community service.

“ACE Week was a huge success this year thanks to the work of our brothers and everyone that supported us,” said Will Wisnasky, Sigma Pi’s Alpha Iota Chapter Recruitment Chair.

To begin, 22 brothers hosted a BBQ for first responders, showing their gratitude for their service. At Schuman Park, they cooked hot dogs and burgers for 16 first responders and their families.

Along Highway BB, the chapter’s sponsored highway, 28 brothers worked diligently to clean up the area. In the end, they collected 8 bags of trash, positively impacting the environment.

15 brothers spent a day at Oak Pointe Senior Living, bringing joy and companionship to the residents. Together, they played bingo and various board games.

To show appreciation for the contributions made by Missouri S&T’s faculty, members organized a special breakfast, during which 8 brothers served them breakfast sandwiches.

Building on their commitment to camaraderie, members hosted Pancakes with Pi’s, where they made pancakes for all attendees. 8 brothers made 35 pancakes, serving a total of 17 individuals.
