Flagstaff, AZ – March 30, 2025 – The Zeta Omicron chapter of Sigma Chi Fraternity is proud to announce the overwhelming success of its annual philanthropy week. Raising an astounding $116,572 for the Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI), and ranking 4th most amongst all Sigma Chi chapters nationwide. This achievement marks a new milestone for the NAU chapter, reinforcing its commitment to supporting cancer research and patient care.

Throughout the week, Sigma Chi organized a series of fundraising events, engaging family and friends from all over in their mission to make a difference in the fight against cancer. The Zeta Omicron chapter prides themselves on showing that cancer has affected everyone in different ways and that you are not fighting the battle alone. The Call-A-Thon event, organized on Wednesday, March 26th, brought together individuals to reach out to friends, family, alumni, and supporters to secure donations for the Huntsman Cancer Institute. Thanks to the generosity of donors and participants, this year’s event exceeded all expectations, demonstrating the power of collective action in driving meaningful change.

The Zeta Omicron chapter of Sigma Chi is beyond grateful for the incredible support from the NAU community, alumni, and friends. Raising $116,572 for the Huntsman Cancer Institute is a testament to what we can accomplish together. Every dollar donated contributes to
groundbreaking research and patient care that can truly change lives.

The Sigma Chi Fraternity remains dedicated to its partnership with HCI and looks forward to continuing its efforts in supporting cancer research and awareness. The chapter extends its deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed, attended events, and helped spread the word. Together, we are one step closer to being the generation to end cancer.
