The LSU IFC Community partnered with the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank in an effort to give back to our school and community, especially for those students who previously relied on the LSU on campus food bank who are now being sent to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank.
“Our community came together in a spectacular way,” IFC President Marshall Lee said in a press release. “Though the coordination and hard work of our fraternity and sorority leadership, we were able to raise $10,382, which equates to about 31,146 meals for the Baton Rouge community.
“I wouklkd like to give special thanks to (Theta Xi chapter president) Wilhelm Waguespack for his work in getting this initiative started. I would also like to thank (past TKE chapter president) Jake Schexnaidre for his efforts in coordinating with the food bank.”
