The Beta Gamma Chapter of Kappa Delta Rho at Christopher Newport University has partnered with Riverside Elementary School since 2020. Their brothers assist them as needed throughout the school year, from supporting teachers, participating in read-aloud sessions and supporting their PTA. The chapter have truly made an impact on both the students and teachers.
Riverside Elementary has welcomed the chapter members into their family and this semester they wanted to do something big for them: collect 500 new books for the school. They are proud to report they are currently crushing their goal with over 900 books donated so far. To do this they partnered with the CNU campus community as well as the Newport News community for additional support.
