New York Beta Chapter

New York Beta Chapter (Syracuse) co-hosted Safe Driving Week with the sisters of Tri Delta. Together we were able to raise around $30,000. The week consisted of holding a candlelight vigil with former Phi Psi member’s parent, Jerry Watson Alabama ‘64. He shared an inspiring speech as we held our lit candles up to his dear, deceased son, Hunter Watson Syracuse ‘15. The week concluded with the chapter’s annual “Pie A Phi Psi” fundraiser. People came to the chapter house and paid $3 to pie a brother of their choosing. The chapter submitted roughly 4,000 pledges along with $30,000 to Hunter’s Fund.

Ohio Theta Chapter

The brothers of Ohio Theta (Ashland) went to Camp Nuhop to volunteer at the camp’s annual event, Fuzzy Fandango! Fuzzy Fandango is a huge race where people across the state of Ohio come to compete in either a 1Mi, 5K, 9Mi, 25K or 50K races. Brothers helped direct parking, prepared food, and ran aid stations throughout the course. Not only did the members put in volunteer hours, but they also donated $5,000 to Camp Nuhop. Camp Nuhop, a summer camp that is dedicated to building the self-esteem of children with learning disabilities and emotional disorders.

Iowa Beta Chapter

Iowa Beta (Iowa State) held their first-ever Phi Psi Sundaes fundraiser in October 2022. Ice Cream sundaes were served with an extravagant toppings bar, and the event raised $4,000 for St. Jude’s Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Indiana Zeta Chapter

Fall semester 2022, Indiana Zeta Chapter (Butler) had the privilege of planting 131 trees in a local suburb with the organization, Keep Indianapolis Beautiful. Indiana Zeta puts a strong emphasis on weekly service events, and taking part in these larger scale activities paired with organizations is an amazing way to reach the community and truly make a difference.
