Last week, Troy University held the annual Greek Week, where fraternities and sororities came together to have fun and raise money for their philanthropies.
Numerous events took place during the week, such as Tug-of-War, Greek Sing, the Can Castle Contest, and a Stroll Off. To switch it up, new events were added to the bunch such as Capture the Flag, Campus Feud, and Blindfolded Volleyball.
Mollie Erwin, a sophomore global business major from Wetumpka, Alabama, and President of Chi Omega, said that while everyone wanted to win, they did not let the competition affect their relationships with one another.
“Greek Week means a week of unity among all Greek organizations,” Erwin said. “We obviously want our organization to win but we’re all participating in the same events for the same reasons with the same cause.
