Fraternity man finds new purpose

Sports reporter and Gamma Pi Chapter alumnus Brandon Saho (West Virginia) struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts for years before seeking therapy and checking into a hospital in 2022.

Following his treatment, Brandon found a new purpose in life to help others battling the same challenges with depression, anxiety, and mental health. He launched The Mental Game podcast hoping to break the stigma around talking about mental health and has interviewed guests such as actor Terry Crews and former NFL All-Pro linebacker Ryan Shazier.

Recently Brandon announced his 30 States 30 Days Road Trip to raise awareness for mental health. Yesterday, Brandon made one of his early stops on the tour, a return to his alma mater for an opportunity to partner with the Gamma Pi Chapter and talk about mental health with fellow Mountaineers. #hirickety#sigmanu#legionofhonor
