Alpha Elites Service Organization, in collaboration with local authorities and environmental organizations, held a community cleanup initiative to foster environmental stewardship and civic engagement among young people.
On May 4, 2024, the Alpha Elites Service Organization members, comprised of enthusiastic and dedicated youth grades 8 – 12, participated in a comprehensive cleanup effort targeting the Toulminville community. “Our youth are not just the leaders of tomorrow, but also the stewards of our environment today, through initiatives like this cleanup, we aim to instill in them a sense of responsibility towards the environment and our communities,” – Demetrius Drakeford, Alpha Phi Alpha member and Lead Advisor of the Alpha Elites Service Organization.
The Alpha Elites Organization is a youth group that is comprised of young men between the grade levels 8th-12″ grade. This group is organized and managed by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, Beta Omicron Lambda Chapter, located in Mobile, AL. The Alpha Elite’s activities are associated with the characteristics of brotherhood, leadership, community service, scholarship, professionalism, and achievement.
