LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Local Greek life organizations are teaming up to provide mental health resources for the community.
The ‘Mental Health is a Family Matter’ health fair will kick off at the Pearson Community Center on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The Las Vegas Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi and Theta Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority are hosting the event to dispel myths surrounding mental health.
Guests will hear from speakers and have access to immunizations and other informational resources.
Community members are also invited to bring business attire to donate, or documents and electronics to recycle.
The free event aims to rewrite narratives about emotional well-being.
