MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – This Easter weekend, Alpha Phi Alpha is helping out in the community by hosting a college prep workshop for students interested in higher learning.
” We try to give them avenues [and to] be a guide [to get them] where they need to be,” one of the members shared with Action News 5.
These college prep workshops help young adults pick the majors and career path that best fits their interest.
Alpha Phi Alpha hopes that this event will help to start conversations about preparing for college and what it takes to be ready for that next step.
