Brothers of the University of Minnesota Chapter of Alpha Delta Phi volunteered at the Minneapolis Veterans Home as part of the Brothers-in-Arms 22 Day Challenge.
The Challenge encourages chapters to find local projects that benefit veterans while raising money for Stop Solider Suicide (in the U.S.) and the Veterans Transition Network (in Canada).
While the brothers were at the Veterans Home, the brothers met with veterans, played bingo, and helped to run games during the day. During the 22 Day Challenge, the chapter was able to raise over $1,500 for Stop Solider Suicide which provides support services struggling with mental health issues. Brothers also made a donation to the Minneapolis Veterans Home to help provide puzzles and games, needed supplies and other recreational items.
