Benjamin Jacobs is a senior medical biology major at the University of South Dakota and a Pi Kappa Alpha brother. Last summer, he was selected to be a Nolop Summer Research Scholar, which allowed him to gain experience in the lab and conduct research on anxiety and depression. The Nolop family established the Nolop Institute for Medical Biology Endowment in memory of Keith Nolop, a USD alum who had a successful career in research and pharmaceuticals. The endowment supports medical biology students like Jacobs as they work to become the researchers of tomorrow.
