Fraternity and Sorority Life held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, Jan. 18 at 6 p.m. for its new department in the Graham Center.

Joining several Greek Life organizations in GC rooms 243 and 210 were FIU President Kenneth Jessell and SGA President Alex Sutton as keynote speakers.

Miguel Sobera, president of the Interfraternity Council, shared some prospects about the new enrichment space.

“We are going unite and work on stuff, programming, getting contacts, get involved with counseling,” said Sobera.

“Everyone from the Greek community is coming together and now realizing that we have the space for fraternity and sorority life enrichment.”
