MARYVILLE, Mo. — Recently, the Alumni Association of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity at Northwest Missouri State University celebrated 70 years since its founding as the Delta-Nu chapter of TKE in 1954.

According to a news release from the chapter, more than 200 alumni and friends joined in the celebration May 31 to June 2, participating in golf tournaments, activities and fundraisers that raised more than $10,000 for the fraternity and $6,700 to help fund 28 individual $1,000 scholarships through the Northwest Foundation.

“We had a record turnout, had fun, raised a lot of money for TKE and were able to make new friendships with so many TKE brothers across our history,” said Tony Dorrel, TKE alumnus and chairman of the 70th Anniversary Committee, in a statement.
