The “Trailblazing” Tau Epsilon Sigma Alumni Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. proudly announces the induction of four outstanding new members into the fraternity. This Summer 2024 intake class, known as the “Vision of B.L.U.,” embodies the core values of Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service that have defined Phi Beta Sigma since its founding.
The new members include:

- Michael Cobb (HeiΣenberg)
- Joe Watkins (TREacherouΣ)
- Courtney Crowson (Σmoke Σtack)
Joe Watkins, who currently serves as the Mayor Pro Tem and City Councilor at Large for the City of Lexington, brings a wealth of leadership experience and a deep commitment to public service. His dedication to the community and his vision for its future align perfectly with the fraternity’s mission to uplift humanity and foster positive change.
Courtney Crowson, the proud owner of the popular Lexington establishment, Smoke & Oak, is a dynamic entrepreneur with a passion for community engagement. Through his business and personal endeavors, Courtney has made significant contributions to the local community, and his commitment to mentorship and service makes him a valuable addition to the fraternity.
The official induction ceremony took place on August 4, 2024, at Lexington Senior High School, where the new members were welcomed by fraternity brothers, family, and community leaders.

The “Trailblazing” Tau Epsilon Sigma Alumni Chapter continues to be a beacon of leadership and community service in the Davidson County area. With the addition of the Vision of B.L.U., the chapter looks forward to expanding its initiatives and continuing its motto of Culture for Service and Service for Humanity.
