Arkansas Tech University fraternity and sorority members collected and donated 39,588 food items and 3,506 hygiene items to local children during the 2022 ATU Greeks Give Back drive.

The items were provided to children served by Crawford Elementary School and Center Valley Elementary School in the Russellville School District, the Dardanelle School District and River Valley Food 4 Kids. Deliveries were made on Friday, April 8, to coincide with the end of ATU Greek Week 2022.

Payton Youngblood, a graduate assistant in the ATU Division of Student Affairs, oversaw the food drive by ATU fraternities and sororities as part of her mentorship for College Panhellenic Council and Order of Omega.

“I am thrilled with this turn out and have to brag on these students,” said Youngblood. “They went above and beyond and I am so proud of them.”
