EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – A Michigan State University (MSU) Fraternity took responsibility for protecting and improving the condition of the Red Cedar River.
Delta Sigma Phi teamed up with Michigan Waterways Stewards for the second year to help clean up the Red Cedar River.
“Michigan is one of the most beautiful states here in the US. And again starting something small and creating something bigger, like a way that we could do it across all of Michigan and possibly just like start a trend,” said Maxmilian Hornug, a member of Delta Sigma Phi.
Close to 40 students gathered early on Sunday including members of Delta Sigma Phi and the ladies of Sigma Kappa.
