NEW WILMINGTON, Pa — It’s that exciting time of year! Westminster’s 2024 Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned this weekend! All undergraduate students could vote for two candidates to be crowned at the Homecoming Game during halftime. Although voting is now closed, there is still time to get to know this great group of juniors representing all major organizations on campus! Now, let’s meet our candidates!
Anthony Cicchino – Greek Life: Sigma Phi Epsilon
Anthony, known as Tony around campus, is a committed Biology major with a history minor, representing his fraternity as the chapter president, Sigma Phi Epsilon. Tony is also seen on campus during SGA meetings and is actively involved in Westminster’s All-College Honors Program, the Tri-Beta Honors Society, and the Orientation Program. Tony expressed that his favorite part about being a member of SigEp is his fellow brothers, saying, “All of them are amazing guys, and I am proud to call each one my brother. “Tony believes he exemplifies what it means to be a Titan. Through his roles in the Student Government Association, All-Honors College, Tri-Beta Honors Society, and the Orientation Program, he aims to improve campus life for all students, saying, “I am so proud to be a part of both SigEp and the Westminster community. I would be so grateful for your vote to be the 2024 Homecoming King. “He would like to shout out all his friends on the court, wishing them ‘good luck’ and appreciating the support from Kevin, Jake, and all his fraternity brothers for helping him with his Instagram, @tony_4_king24 and supporting his campaign!
Alyssa Brest & Kaiden Anthony – Greek Life: Alpha Sigma Phi
Kaiden is a Biology Major with a minor in Marketing and is proudly representing his fraternity, Alpha Sigma Phi, as the Vice President of Growth and Recruitment! He is also involved in the TRIO program on campus and is the goalie on the men’s soccer team. Kaiden truly values the friendships and professional connections he has built through his fraternity. Additionally, you should vote for him because he “represents everything Alpha Sig is about: to better the man, and I, Kaiden Anthony, am the best man.” Kaiden is very excited about the opportunity to be a part of this year’s homecoming court and wants to thank his parents, sister, girlfriend, and friends for always supporting him!
Dominic Prozzoly – Greek Life: Phi Kappa Tau
Dominic is a History and Secondary Education major, more commonly known as Dom. He is actively involved in his fraternity, Phi Kappa Tau, as Treasurer and Social Chair and proudly represents them on this year’s homecoming court! In his roles as Treasurer and Social Chair, he enjoys the camaraderie of his brothers and the responsibility of managing the organization’s finances, saying, “I love being around my brothers; we do everything together in our organization.” Dom believes people should vote for him because he is “a great face on campus,” he enjoys making a positive impact by being a member of his fraternity and an orientation leader. With plenty of free time, he is always available to engage with others!
