On Saturday, Feb. 11, Dr. Darren Lipscomb, J.D., Polemarch, and approximately 125 members of the Philadelphia Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., gathered for the fraternity’s annual Valentine’s Day Affair, Hearts and Diamonds. Alongside the brothers of KAP, the Kappa Silhouettes were in attendance.
The affair was celebrated at the Courtyard Marriott on Presidential Boulevard at 2 p.m. with food, music, spirits and a rose for all the Silhouettes. The Kappa Sweethearts were serenaded by the Kappas with the Kappa Sweetheart Song.
Special recognition was given to the Kappa Silhouettes of deceased Kappa Brothers. The affair was highlighted with a trip back in time featuring a bop contest.
